Dan Brouillette served as the 15th United States Secretary of Energy, where he was the President’s chief advisor on energy, nuclear security, and national infrastructure. In this role, he led an organization of over 100,000 employees and contractors, overseeing the nation’s nuclear arsenal, 17 national laboratories, and a multibillion-dollar research and innovation budget.

With more than three decades of experience across government and the private sector, Brouillette has built a career at the intersection of energy policy, global markets, and technological innovation. Prior to becoming Secretary, he served as Deputy Secretary of Energy, playing a key role in shaping U.S. energy strategy during a period of significant transformation.

His leadership tenure coincided with major advances in energy and technology, including progress in quantum computing, advanced materials, hydrogen, carbon management, and next-generation energy systems.

Before returning to government, Brouillette held senior executive roles in industry, including Vice President at Ford Motor Company and Senior Vice President and Head of Public Policy at USAA, where he contributed to the development and deployment of emerging technologies and innovation strategies.
