ABOUT SPEAKER

May Asagba is a globally recognized social entrepreneur, policy advisor, and elite speaker operating at the intersection of youth development, future-of-work innovation, and systemic change.

At just 21 years old, she founded the CAIN Educational Foundation, a high- impact nonprofit that has spent over 13 years breaking cycles of generational poverty in Africa by equipping underserved youth with quality education, digital skills, and pathways to sustainable economic opportunity.

An alumna of Cornell University, an Ivy League institution, May uniquely bridges hyper-local grassroots execution with global strategy and policy influence. Her leadership has directly impacted more than 14,000 individuals across underserved communities—supporting students in transitioning from digital illiteracy to web development proficiency, enabling young women to quadruple their incomes within a year, and helping first-generation scholars become the first graduates in their families.

On the global stage, May has represented youth voices from West and Central Africa at high-level policy consultations convened by UNESCO and UNICEF, contributing to international conversations on education, employability, and youth development. Her work has been supported by institutions including the European Union and Global Youth Mobilization, recognized with the Lagos State Governor’s Award for Social Impact, and featured by BBC News, UNESCO, and One Young World.

May is widely sought after for her ability to translate grassroots realities into scalable systems change. On stage, she combines Ivy League analytical rigor with high-energy storytelling to deliver compelling keynotes on leadership, workforce transformation, education innovation, and radical social impact.

Her keynotes are known for being highly engaging and insight-driven, equipping audiences with practical frameworks that help organizations and leaders design more effective education systems, prepare youth for the future of work, and scale sustainable social impact.
