Klaas Wagenaar is an entrepreneur, digital strategist, and an active IFR multi-engine and rotary pilot with over 3,000 hours in the cockpit. He brings the disciplined, systems-based mindset of aviation to the high-stakes world of corporate boardrooms. As the Co-founder and Chairman of LEXGEN AI, Klaas currently leads the charge in the "AI-First" revolution, moving organizations from simple task automation to high-altitude systemic synergy.
His executive career is defined by "boardroom grit" and a history of navigating global turnarounds. Klaas served as the CEO of Getronics, where he provided decisive leadership during a critical market transition for the global ICT provider. He later transitioned to KPMG as a Senior Partner, leading restructuring practices in the Netherlands and the Nordics while serving on the board of KPMG LLP. In 2013, he founded BOLD Advisory and BOLD Digital—a premier hub bridging the gap between restructuring and digital transformation—which was later acquired by FTI Consulting.
A prolific author and recognized voice in both aviation safety and business transformation, his works include Mastering Transformations, Business Unusual, The Pyramid Upside Down, and his latest definitive guide, The BOLD Route: The Agentic Architect. Klaas is dedicated to helping firms "invert the pyramid," decoupling revenue from manual labor to reclaim the "Human Premium" of strategic taste and empathy.
