Oliver was previously the Vice President of Engineering, Content & Product at the online education startup Udacity (recently valued at over $1 billion). He also led the autonomous vehicle, artificial intelligence, and deep learning curriculum, working closely with pioneers in the industry such as Sebastian Thrun.
Prior to Udacity, Oliver founded a startup that went through the Silicon Valley incubator Y Combinator. That startup aimed to bring intelligence to the address book and was backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, and Tencent.
